Items for the Hero

Using special items, you can increase your Hero's experience and energy, reset Skill points, activate Sets, and much more.

You can see how many items for your Hero you already have in the Military, Bonuses, and Resources sections of the My Items tab.

Book of Knowledge

This item is needed for increasing your Hero's experience. When the required amount of experience is earned, the Hero moves to the next level. There are 70 Hero levels in total.

To increase your Hero's experience, open the Hero information window in the Hero's Abode, hit the blue circle in the lower left part of the window, and use the Book of Knowledge items. The necessary number of items will be automatically written off from the My Items tab. The Books of Knowledge can also be applied right from the Item Store.

You can always increase your Hero's experience by completing Tasks and Quests, constructing and upgrading buildings, learning Knowledge, attacking Invaders, and destroying enemy warriors.

You can purchase the Book of Knowledge in the Item Store for Gold, in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, and as part of Bank offers. The number of all the items you have is displayed in the My Items tab, Bonuses section.

Hero's Key

This item is needed for upgrading the Hero between levels 61 and 70. You can purchase Hero's Keys in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, as part of Bank offers, or get them for attacking Uber Invaders.

You may also get a Hero's Coffret containing Books of Knowledge, Star Shards, and/or Hero's Keys. To receive it, attack Monsters of Jotunheim or yield resources in level 8 and 9 Gifts of the Gods bonus locations.

The number of Hero's Keys you have is displayed in the My Items tab, Bonuses section. You can view Hero's Coffrets in the same tab, Treasure section.

Second Chance

This item helps you reset the Hero's Skill points and redistribute them. Hero's Skills give additional bonuses to a wide range of important parameters that directly affect the military stats of your troops led by the Hero and the economic stats of your Town.

To reset the Hero's Skills, go to the Hero's Skills tab of the Hero's Abode, hit the "Reset Skills" button, and apply the Second Chance item.

You can purchase the item in the Item Store for Gold, in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, and as part of Bank offers. You may also receive the Second Chance item by attacking Uber Invaders. The number of all the items you have is displayed in the My Items tab, Bonuses section.

Memory Points

This item increases the number of Memory Points. They are needed to unlock new Hero Set slots.

A Set is a saved selection of Hero's Skills and equipment. To unlock a new slot, go to the Hero Sets tab in the Hero's Abode, hit the "Open" button, and use the item to get the additional Memory Points you need.

You can purchase Memory Points in the Item Store for Gold. You can also receive them as a reward for passing checkpoints in the Kingdoms Battle global Competition. The number of all the items you have is displayed in the My Items tab, Bonuses section.

Hero Set Activation

This item is needed for activating a Hero Set.

To activate a Set, you need to open the Hero Sets tab in the Hero's Abode, select a Set, hit the "Activate" button, and apply the item. Remember: you cannot activate a Set that is identical to the current one. If the Hero is on a march, Set activation is also unavailable.

You can purchase the Hero Set Activation in the Item Store for Gold and as part of Bank offers. You can also receive it for passing checkpoints in the Kingdoms Battle global Competition. The number of all the items you have is displayed in the My Items tab, Bonuses section.

Hero's Energy

This item increases the amount of Hero's energy, which is needed for attacking Invaders and Uber Invaders. The stronger the Invader, the more energy it will take to attack. The basic amount of Hero's energy is 1,000 units and the maximum possible amount is 500,000 units.

The Hero's Energy item has a temporary effect. Let's say you increase your Hero's energy from 1,000 to 100,000 units before starting an attack. The Hero destroys some Invaders and uses up all the available energy. Over time, the Hero's energy will return to its initial value — 1,000 units.

You can increase the energy amount and its restoration speed using Knowledge, Hero's Skills, Town Skins, boosts, equipment, gems, and bonuses in the Events window.

You can purchase Hero's Energy in the Item Store for Gold or as part of Bank offers. You may also receive this item as a reward. Open the Chest of Loki and capture resource locations more often: when your troops exhaust a location, you can get Hero's Energy items as a trophy.

In the Bonuses section of the My Items tab, you can find the Rename Hero and Change Hero's Appearance items, using which you can change the Hero's name and appearance.
