What is a Siege of the Stronghold and how does it work?
Siege is a temporary status of the Clan Stronghold. When it is activated, your Clan Fortress becomes a target for attacks by neutral warriors: troops led by jötunns. Enemy Jarls also can attack it and send Onslaughts to it. If you want to attack your enemies' Clan Stronghold, wait until they activate Siege status in it.
To activate Siege status in your Clan Stronghold, build the Tower of Odin and use Precious Dust.
Siege status lasts for two hours. After that, the Stronghold's status changes to "Guarded," which means that it cannot be attacked. At Tower of Odin levels 1–4, it is possible to activate Siege status again after three days; at level 5, after two days; and at level 6, after one day.
Please note: you will get Soul Shards by destroying neutral troops. In addition, you will gain the same number of points in Competitions that you would have scored by killing enemy warriors from other Kingdoms.
