Rune characteristics

Runes are divided into classes similar to gem classes:

• Simple
• Usual
• Unusual
• Rare
• Epic
• Legendary

The higher the rune class, the bigger the bonus value.

The color and the shape of a rune reflect its number of bonuses:

• Round rune — 1 bonus
• Rectangular rune — 2 bonuses
• Triangular rune — 3 bonuses

There are also Celestial runes, which grant a unique combination of bonuses for the selected troop type. Read more about them in the "Celestial runes" subsection.
